John Frank Davidson

Professor of Chemical Engineering at University of Cambridge from 1975 until 1993 (Shell Professor since 1978). President of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (1970-71), adviser to Commitee on Safety of Nuclear installations (1977-87) and Vice President of the Royal Society in 1989. Appointed as Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 1976. Davidson was the author of a number of works on Fluidization.
