Ivy Smith studied at Chelsea School of art and the Royal Academy Schools (RA Gold Medal). She is an acclaimed portrait painter, artist and teacher. Smith has won many awards including the John Player Portrait Award 1986 and the Arts Council Grants for the Arts 2005. She has work in several public and private collections.
