I have two oil portraits of my mother and father-in-law painted by a certain Theo Ramos. He visited Chatsworth in the early 1960's where he had been commissioned to copy Rembrandt's Oriental Gentleman. I watched him working alongside the original.He became friendly with my parents-in-law, visited them at home and painted their portraits.
Actually one he did of my father-in-law hung on the staircase to the Theatre Gallery at one time.
