Justin Mortimer (1970-)

Justin Mortimer studied at the Slade School of Art and was a very recent graduate when he won the Portrait Award in 1991. Since then he has undertaken a number of important commissions including portraits of HM The Queen, Sir Steven Redgrave and, also for the National Portrait Gallery, three Royal Court directors. In 2004 he was awarded the EASTaward in the EASTinternational, an annual contemporary open exhibition at Norwich Gallery.
