Glenys Barton (1944-)

Sculptor born in Stoke on Trent, working in ceramic media and exploiting in particular an idiosyncratic use of colour and line; her work has been shown in Britain, Europe and the United States, including an exhibition in 1977-8 of sculpture made over an 18 month period at the Wedgwood Factory in Stoke on Trent and Glenys Barton Portraits shown at the National Portrait Gallery in 1997.
