Charles Adams (1912-2008), Photographer

Artist of 8 portraits
At the age of thirteen Charles Adams won a scholarship which took him to the School of Photography in Bolt Court in London. As a reward his father made him a 1/4 plate camera. After the war he built his own business as a wedding photographer. In the 1950s Adams became the official photographer of the Albany Club, Saville Row, where he photographed numerous celebrities. In later years Adams achieved his Associate in the Royal Photographic Society and the British Institute of Professional Photographers.
