This is my mother's (94) cousin, (he was born in Arnold, Nottingham, was an artist in the trenches during ww1, studied architecture at Nottingham university, designed properties in England, went on to be principal at Delhi university, then was on the architectural management team designing Sydney Opera House in the 1960's

W W Wood was my mentor during the early 1970's overseeing a major indutrial complex in Randfontein South Africa. He had designed many government buildings in Namibia (then South West Africa) and had been attached to the University of Cairo previously.
