Katharine Rumens

Katharine Rumens was one of the first women to be ordained as a priest by the Church of England in the spring of 1994. Before her ordination, she worked as an art teacher and fashion designer. Previously curate of St John's Church, Waterloo, Rumens is now rector of St Giles Church, Cripplegate. She is the first female incumbent of a church in the City of London. Her parish includes the Barbican arts complex.
