Amy Williams

(1982-), Skeleton racer; Olympian

Born in Cambridge, Williams studied for her BA in Sports Performance at the University of Bath. Williams is part of the British bob skeleton team. Women's skeleton first featured in the Winter Olympics in 2002, when Britain won the bronze medal. Williams came 5th in the 2009/2010 end of season rankings, and at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, became the first British individual gold medalist at a Winter Olympics for 30 years.
