Sir William Mordaunt Milner was the brother of Mary Milner and their father was the 2nd Bart. William Milner: 1725-1774. A politician of the Whig Party. Sir William and his wife
Elizabeth were witnesses to the wedding of their daughter, Mary, to Sir John Lindsay KB, Prince of Arcot at St.George's Church, Hanover Square on the 17th Sept. 1768. This would make Mary older than her brother. William Mordaunt Milner was related to Dido
Elizabeth Belle, Sir John's natural daughter, so would have been aware of her. As Sir John would have been aware of the young William Mordaunt Milner.
