Howard M King took a portrait of my mother Mavis Lillian Collins Showler on her 21st Birthday (we think) - that would have been in 1933. I still have it in its original cover signed Howard M King - Croydon. She was just another girl who lived in Thornton Heath at the time. The family were very keen on recording all events.
