Glasgow-born singer, Eddi Reader began her professional career as a backing singer with punk group Gang of Four, before becoming a session vocalist with bands including the Eurythmics. In the mid 1980s she co-founded Fairground Attraction, whose first UK number one single 'Perfect' was followed by the award-winning album The First of A Million Kisses (1988). Her solo albums include Mirmama (1992), Driftwood (2002) and Eddi Reader Sings the Songs of Robert Burns (2003). She was awarded an MBE in 2006.
