Rose Wylie

(1934-), Painter

Wylie studied at the Folkestone and Dover School of Art (1952-56) and Royal College of Art (1979-1981). Solo exhibitions in London have included Rose Wylie, Paintings (Union, 2006) and Wear What You Like (Transition Gallery, 2008). In 2010 Wylie was shortlisted for 'Women to Watch' at the National Museum for Women in the Arts, Washington DC. In the same year she was also guest artist for Savannah and Sienna Miller's fashion label Twenty8Twelve. Wylie's work is in national collections including the Arts Council England and the Royal College of Art, London.
