Liam Padmore
(1989-), Technician apprentice; member of London 2012 Olympic Park construction teamsSitter in 1 portrait
Liam Padmore was an apprentice on the Olympic Park. Newham-based Padmore was recruited through the Olympic Delivery Authority as a technician apprentice, and worked in a tunnelling team in the Olympic Park. He said at the time 'Most jobs are sitting in offices, but there's a thrill to this. It's such an interesting job. You're underground, pushing tunnels through and building out timber in the shafts.'
