He was born in Kinincha, Gort, Co Galway, Ireland to
Malachy Huban 1856-1926 and
Lizzie Glennon Huban 1857-1929.
The family were prosperous having a shop in Bridge Street, Gort.
Surgeon John Huban had a brother
Joseph 1889- 1946, a pharmacist in Athlone and a sister
Margaret “Gretta” Huban who married a colourful doctor
Gerard Morgan Coyne c1898-1969 Dispensary Doctor in Ballinasloe, Co Galway. He fixed my broken leg in 1948.
