Kate Elizabeth Winslet

Winslet came to the public's attention in Peter Jackson's 1994 film Heavenly Creatures. She was Oscar-nominated for Best Supporting Actress her role in the films Sense and Sensibility (1995), Iris (2001) in which she played the novelist Iris Murdoch and Steve Jobs (2015). She was also nominated for the Best Actress award at the Oscars for her performances in Titanic (1997), Little Children (2006) and Michel Gondry's Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2005). She won numerous awards for her role in The Reader (2009) including an Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe. Winslet won an Emmy for her performance in the TV series Mildred Pearce (2011).
