Anthony Joshua

Born in Watford, Hertfordshire, heavyweight boxer Joshua spent his earliest years in Nigeria before returning to the UK aged twelve. He began boxing at the age of eighteen and was a novice when he won a silver medal at the 2011 World Championships and gold at the London 2012 Olympics. In 2013, he was appointed an MBE and began his professional career, where he has won each of twenty-two fights, finishing all but one by knockout. He has held the IBF heavyweight title since April 2016, having previously held the British, Commonwealth, and WBC International heavyweight titles. In 2016, The Ring magazine ranked him as the sixth best heavyweight boxer in the world.
