The was the son of Aroon Kumar Sinha and Nirupama Chatterjee, Anindo Kumar Sinha was born on 18 May 1930. Educated at Charterhouse in Surrey, he became a sales manager for Unilever and then, Pilkington. He married Lolita Das, daughter of Deb Kumar Das, in 1965. He died on 18 January 1999 at age 68, leaving two daughters.

Anindo Kumar Einha was my father. He also had two sons. Arup Kumar Sinha as his eldest son and my elder brother after our father died my brother declined to take his seat in the house . Dillip Sinha was his second son. They are both older than myself. I am the youngest of his 4 children and now married and reside in the U.S. As you already appear to realize I also have an elder sister who still resides in the U.K. It's with great sadness I must say that our Mother Lady Lolita Sinha passed away this year.
