Artist; began his career as a puppet maker, moving on to work for Jim Henson on Sesame Street and the film Labyrinth. His hyper-realistic sculptures of an unusual scale entered the realm of art with his Little Boy Pinocchio (1995) made for Paula Rego. He exhibited Dead Dad (1996) in Sensation (1997) and has had much success since. His 15-foot sculpture Boy (1999) crouched inside the Millennium Dome (2000) and was exhibited in the 49th Venice Biennale (2001).
