Hostess, hotelier and actress. Arrived in Britain from Australia in 1962 and married journalist and property developer Constantine Hempel two years later. Opened Blake's Hotel in South Kensington. Married Sir Mark Weinberg (1980) who encouraged Hempel to open the fashionably minimalist Hempel Hotel in the 1990s.
