Good morning
The mezzotint portrait of Lord Provost John Coutts of Edinburgh after A Ramsay, a copy of which we hold in the Royal Scottish Academy Collections, was published about February/March 1754.
Alexander Palmer the publisher advertised the print as "just Published" in the Caledonian Mercury newspaper of 1754-03-07.
