I am searching for one or more living members of Marjorie Juta's volunteer ambulance service who sailed from Glasgow to Cape Town s. Africa, in August 1941. On that ship was a woman by the name of Marjorie Marnoch who had 10 British children in tow, at the request of Brigadier Turney who wanted them safe, out of London. The children were paired in case of emergency, each with one of the Juta corps who looked after the children on the voyage and were much admired by the children and by Marjorie M. Please contact [email protected] if you have any information for me. Thank you!
