Taken from the Garrett Memorial St Laurence Church Graveyard Ramsgate Kent.
Near this place lies the body of Thomas Garrett who died January the 2nd 1744 aged 78 years. Also Stephen son of the above Thomas Garett who died January the 3rd 1749 aged 48 years. And Mary Casby his daughter who died Octr the 24th 1751 aged 57 years. Also Mary daughter of the above Mary Casby and wife of George Rainier who died June ye 13th 1751 in the 33rd year of her age. Likewise Thomazine Garrett wife of the above Thomas Garrett who died May 12th 1753 aged 78 years. And Ann Bax daughter of the late Mary Casby aforesaid who died September the 29th 1755 aged 31 years. Also Sarah Brown who died the 27th of July 1763 aged 54 years. Also Thomazine Smith daughter of Mark Seller and Ann Garrett who died Jan. 27th 1773 aged 20 years. Sacred to the memory of Thomas Garrett of Nethercourt late Colonel Commandant of the East Kent Yeomanry cavalry eldest son of Mark Seller and Ann Garrett who departed this life on the 18th of February 1838 aged 82 years.
