Gavin Turk

Turk studied at the Royal College of Art from 1989 to 1991. Collected by Charles Saatchi, Turk became part of the Young British Artists, featuring in the landmark exhibition Sensation at the Royal Academy of Arts in 1997. Turk's best known sculpture, a life-size waxwork depicting the artist as Sid Vicious, was shown in the 2009 exhibition Pop Life at Tate Modern.
