John Keane (1954-)

A political painter, he has often been concerned with conflict - military, political and social, and was commissioned as an official war artist by the Imperial War Museum to document the Gulf War in 1990. Keane painted former Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Mo Mowlam in 2002.
