Mark Foster
(1970-), Swimmer; OlympianSitter in 2 portraits
Swimmer. Foster began competing at international level in 1985, specialising in the 100m Butterfly and Freestyle. He first gained his senior cap in 1986 when he took part in the World Championships. Flag-bearer for England at the 1998 Commonwealth Games and for Great Britain at the 2008 Olympic Games. Foster has broken 8 World Records and has won World, European and Commonwealth Gold medals.
