Singer-songwriter. Introduced to pop music by her brother Rollo, instigator of 1980s dance music hits and his group Faithless for which she contributed some backing vocals. Her debut album No Angel was first released and promoted in America. Here with me became the theme music for cult sci-fi show Roswell High and Thank You was sampled by Eminem for his controversial tale of twisted obsession Stan. Her British success was crowned by two awards at the 2002 Brits in the categories Best British Female Solo Artist and Best British Album.
