Painter, writer, photographer and political activist Caroline Coon founded the Civil rights organisation Release in the 1960s and in the 1970s documented emergence of anti-Hippie punk scene including managing the Clash for a year and designed Global Revolution poster for their second album Give 'em Enough Rope.
