In 1991 Sharp and Slotover founded the contemporary art and culture publication Frieze, with Slotover remaining editor until 1998. Following the success of Frieze, Sharp and Slotover founded the Frieze Art Fair in 2003, which takes place every October. The fair features over 150 contemporary art galleries, specially commissioned artists' projects, and an artist-led education schedule: it is now considered one of the most important contemporary art fairs in the world.
