Part of the successful Redgrave acting dynasty, Lynn Redgrave, sister to Vanessa and Corin, made her stage debut in 1962. She was Oscar nominated for playing the title role in the quintessential sixties film Georgy Girl (1966) and was a founding member of the National Theatre, under the direction of Sir Laurence Olivier.
