Both photographs were taken at St Mary's Hall, Wiggenhall St Mary the Virgin, Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Susan Lipper was a former girl friend of the Scottish poet, George Macbeth and became a friend of the novelist Lisa St Aubin de Teran.
