Noel Thatcher (1966-), Paralympic athlete; runner

A partially sighted runner and physiotherapist, Thatcher began his Paralympic career in 1984 and has won medals at every Games since, over 5,000 and 10,000 m. A former Royal Mail Paralympic Sportsman of the Year, he won gold in the 5,000m and bronze in the 10,000m in Sydney.
