Noel Thatcher

(1966-), Runner; Paralympian

A partially sighted runner and physiotherapist, Thatcher began his Paralympic career in 1984 and has won medals at every Games he attended until 2000. A former Royal Mail Paralympic Sportsman of the Year, he won gold in the 5,000m and 10,000m at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and four years later won gold in the 5,000m and bronze in the 10,000m in Sydney.
