Rock star and artist. Wood began his musical career in the 1960s in various groups including the Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart. A bassist for the Small Faces (later the Faces) in the 1970s, Wood also released several solo albums including I've Got My Own Album to Do (1974). Wood performed with the Rolling Stones on their American tour in 1975 and the following year officially joined the band. His solo career has produced records including Slide on This (1992), Not for Beginners (2002) and Ronnie Wood Anthology: The Essential Crossexion (2006).
