Alice Temperley

Fashion designer Temperley was born in London and grew up in Somerset. Trained at St Martin's School of Art and the Royal College of Art where she specialised in fabric technology and print. Headhunted in her final year by Ratti with whom she designed printed collections for Bulgari and Valentino. In 2000 she launched her own label with husband Lars von Bennigsen. Temperley London has become synonymous with feminine and handcrafted designs with detailed embroidery and beading. She has a celebrity clientele including Kate Winslet, Emila Fox and Keira Knightley, whilst Helena Christensen and Saffron Burrows have been signed to model for the label. Temperley opened her first boutique in Notting Hill.
