He was known as Bill Boyle and he was a Consultant Rheumatologist at the Middlesex Hospital. I believe that he had 3 wives but no children. I worked as a Sister on his ward, in the 1970s, but he had been in post since the early 50s. He was famous for his Rolls Royce. He was a very kind man and an excellent doctor.
