He came to Limerick Ireland 26-3-1955 Looking for Art exhibited at the great Limerick Art Exhibition of 1883, he was particularly looking for works by Frederick Burton. Headline in the local paper at the time read. "When Limerick Was A Tresure - House of Art" in the near future Sir Curtis Lanpson will visit Limerick in search of Art treasures that may be neglected in many homes .
