Anouk Aimée
(1932-), ActressSitter in 3 portraits
Born in Paris, the daughter of two actors. Aimée studied acting and dancing in France and England. Made her first British film, The Golden Salamander, in 1950. Aimée is best known for her appearance in Fellini's La Dolce Vita (1960) and 81/2 (1963), Jacques Demy's Lola (1964) and an Oscar-nominated performance in Claude Lelouch's A Man and a Woman (1966). Aimée reprised this role in 1986 with A Man and A Woman: 20 Years Later. Between 1970 and 1978 she was married to British actor Albert Finney.
