I was 21 and pregnant, my Mother took me to Wimpole St for a referral to have an abortion. He examined me and suggested that either my dates were wrong or it was a multiple birth. I am myself a twin, he dismissed me very quickly. His demeanour was cold, and he said he was in a hurry. Months later I delivered twin boys.

I notice he died in. 1973, I saw him January 72. His Consulting Room was sparse and cold. This was fifty years ago /(almost) but I can remember feeling very upset when we left, my Mother was furious because it had cost her a lot of money for his fee, she was more worried about that than the situation I was in, As we were walking along Harley St she told me that there was no help from her or my dad, so the problem then got a lot bigger. I decided that the solution in the best interest of the children was Adoption, and in 1973 that is what happened. My Parents never spoke about it again till they both died I. 2005, it was a secret and hd to be kept quiet because if their friends opinions.
