He was my great grandfather and I have his black and gold wig box sign written Judge Dale which I inherited upon my grans (his only daughter Alison) death a couple of years back although I never met him thought it was a lovely piece of family history. I remember a photo of him in the corner of her drawing room in Long Crendon with all his regalia on made me feel very proud as a young child.
