Francis Meynell was the founder of the Nonesuch Press and the author of 8 books. His first wife was Hilda, née Peppercorn - professional name Saxe. His second wife was Vera (née Mendel). These details and other family relationships can be verified in his autobiography "My Lives", Bodley Head 1971.
