Apsley George Benet Cherry-Garrard was an Antarctic explorer. He was a survivor of the 1910-13 Terra Nova Expedition and is acclaimed for his historical account of this expedition, The Worst Journey in the World. At the age of twenty-four, 'Cherry' was one of the youngest members of Robert Scott's expedition.
