Television presenter. Born in Essex and began his career as a journalist and radio news producer. Met Judy Finnigan at Granada Television in 1982 and married in 1986. They presented the Granada programme This Morning together for thirteen years (1988-2001), winning two National Television Awards (1998 and 1999). They currently present the afternoon talk show Richard & Judy on Channel Four.
