John Whitehead Peard was the nephew of my husband's four times great grandmother, Elizabeth nee Peard SQUIRE.
I am starting a second book on famous people in my and my husband"s families. I have Elizabeth's husband's (John Squire) will in which the then Captain Shuldham Peard was an executor of the will, dated 6 August 1801. Shuldham was Eizabeth's younger brother; The Peard family were orphaned at an early age, Elizabeth was only 12 and Shuldham only three.
