Angela Hartnett

Angela Hartnett is an Anglo-Welsh-Italian chef. A protégé of Gordon Ramsay who was made famous by her appearances on British television, she was chef-patron at The Connaught Hotel in London. Hartnett was taught to cook by her Italian grandmother. After taking a history degree at Cambridge Polytechnic, she worked in a number of small family-run restaurants before joining Midsummer House in Cambridge, where she learnt her craft. She has worked for Gordon Ramsay in a number of restaurants since 1994.
