Dear Sir or Madam
This note concerns the entries in your online listing marked:
William Allen (1532-1594), Cardinal; Jesuit
I wish to point out that Cardinal William Allen, though a close associate of the Jesuits, was never actually a member of the Society of Jesus himself. His designation as a Jesuit therefore needs to be removed, please.
I hope this information is helpful.
Yours faithfully
Maurice Whitehead
