Henry Percy was the son of Henry de Percy, 3rd Baron Percy, and the father of Henry 'Harry Hotspur' Percy. Originally a follower of Edward III, Percy transferred his allegiance several times, first to Richard II, then to Henry Bolingbroke (later Henry IV), and finally turned against Henry and fought against him in several rebellions.
