The Tale of Tosh and Tim (1922) is set somewhere in the Home Counties, UK. Tosh goes to stay with his upper middle class Aunt and Uncle and has many adventures in which he makes lots of mistakes but it always turns out right.

Born Elsie Algar in st Mary Cray Kent, 1880. Married The Nawabzida Nusrat Ali Mirza, son of the last Nawab Nizam of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa, London, 1907. Had a son and daughter. Changed their names to Norman and Elizabeth Mostyn and emigrated with her husband and children to Australia, 1926. Author of numerous books for children and young adults, set in Australia and the Arctic.
