Reverend Esme Beswick is a Pentecostal minister who pastors a church in Brixton. She was the first black woman to serve as a President of the Churches Together in England from 2002-06. She also served as president of Christian Muslim Forum from 2005-10. Founder and President for the Joint Council for Anglo-Caribbean Churches (JCACC). Her consecration as Bishop elect was held in 2015. A dynamic and influential preacher she has also put her energy into founding many community projects including the Drug and Alcohol Awareness project which has been operating since 1992 and was launched by the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
