I believe this is the Myra Hamilton who wrote original children's fairy tales in the 1880s for popular family magazines, usually illustrated by Marie Miles.. These were compiled as "Fancy Far Land", published Chapman & Hall 1901. (B.M shelf mark 12809.r.60) and she contributed to or edited? "Pinero's Birthday Book" 1898, BM shelfmark 12244.a.32. I read many of her stories in Cassell's Family Magazine - .e.g. The Princess and the Wallawoo, The Silver Teardrop, etc.
